Supported file types
PaperAI currently supports:
- PNG
- JPEG
- TIFF
- BMP
- DOCX
- TXT
- CSV
- HTML
Maximum file size is 50 MB per file.
Conversion settings
Use conversion settings when source quality is inconsistent:
- Provider selection: Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or Mistral
- Guidance notes: explain expected structure or extraction expectations
- Language hint: improve handling for non-English source documents
- PDF page range: convert only specific pages
Treat guidance notes as targeted instructions. Keep them specific and concise for best results.
Processing lifecycle
Each document moves through status states:
- Processing
- Ready for review
- Approved or rejected
Use status filters and folders to keep large-volume queues organized.
