These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PaperAI services. By using PaperAI, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility and accounts
To use certain features, you may need an account. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain account security.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use PaperAI for unlawful activity.
- Attempt to disrupt service integrity or security.
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Upload content you are not authorized to process.
Service availability
PaperAI may evolve over time. Features may be added, changed, or removed, including roadmap capabilities labeled as "coming soon".
Customer data
You retain rights to your uploaded content. You grant PaperAI the limited rights necessary to process and provide the service.
Third-party AI providers
PaperAI integrates third-party AI model providers to process your documents. When you process a document, its content is transmitted to the provider of the AI model you selected. You acknowledge and agree that document content will be transmitted to these third-party providers during processing. AlaiStack is not responsible for third-party provider outages, service changes, or data handling beyond our contractual agreements with them. See our Privacy Policy for the list of providers and how data is handled.
Intellectual property
PaperAI and related materials are owned by AlaiStack and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed according to your selected subscription or order terms. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated.
Disclaimer
AI output disclaimer. PaperAI uses artificial intelligence to process documents. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated output before relying on it for any purpose. Confidence scores are estimates, not guarantees of accuracy.
No professional advice. PaperAI output does not constitute legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Consult qualified professionals for decisions based on document content.
Service disclaimer. PaperAI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that AI processing will be error-free, uninterrupted, or achieve any particular level of accuracy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaperAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect service integrity.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law based on your agreement or order form. Venue and jurisdiction follow those governing terms.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
